EVENT COMPLETION: 2015. NBC-UK held a Walkathon event on Sunday, 17th May 2015 at 4 pm. . The event started from Alexandra Park (HA2 8HA) close to South Harrow ASDA and finished at Northala Hills (UB5 6UQ). The distance between the start and finish was approximately 3 miles. ONGOING PROJECT – CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING DUE TO COVID-19, FREQUENCY – WEEKLY. Age group 5-15 years. Class is completely FREE. This project is aimed to teach Nepalese Language and Culture to small children. We are hoping to teach them basic reading and writing of Nepalese Language so that they can communicate to their parents and grandparents without needing an interpreter

PROJECT COMPLETION – 2019. As our ongoing to support needy people in various regions of Nepal, this time we have chosen “The children affected by civil unrest in Madhesh” by supporting a dedicated organisation for this purpose – Chetana Sundesh Nepal. We are willing to build a Hostel block for Girls and E-Library.
PROJECT COMPLETION – 2017. Hostel for school in deprived community in Kanda, Chitawan, Nepal. This is an ongoing project. we have raised over £9000 to build a hostel in a deprived community. NEXT EVENT – DECEMBER 2020, FREQUENCY – ONCE EVERY YEAR ON FESTIVAL WEEKEND. As well as Nepalese festivals, we celebrate Christmas and New Year as a special event. These events are helping us to keep the community together as well as to raise funds for our support projects in the UK and in Nepal.
NEXT EVENT – OCTOBER 2020, FREQUENCY – ONCE EVERY YEAR ON FESTIVAL WEEKEND. A special songs and dance program visiting the guest’s homes who invites us. This is a pure fundraising program in our own cultural way. A special musical team within NBC-UK leads the rest of the group to celebrate this event in a special traditional way.
NEXT EVENT – OCTOBER 2020, FREQUENCY – ONCE EVERY YEAR ON FESTIVAL WEEKEND. Dashain (Vijaya Dashami) is one of the major festival in Nepal. This is the festival we celebrate as a Victory of Truth. We take a one-day round trip to a popular beach during the very pick summer holiday time. It is amazing to have hundreds of friends and families together in a single place and enjoy the summertime in groups
